I have recently been advised by my coach to start eating healthier but I'm not to sure how to get myself motivated enough as every time I go to the shops its really hard for me to buy healthy food and I end up buying junk food :( please help :) . Start small and work your way from there. For example, eat an apple or some fruit as a snack at least once a day for a few days. Add whole grain products to your diet as well, maybe switch from white to wheat bread. If you're drinking whole milk, try 2% for awhile then switch to 1%. Once you try a few things and get used to it, you may surprise yourself and like it. Since I switched, I'll never go back to drinking whole milk or eating white bread again. Don't try to go cold turkey as far as quitting the junk food goes though, it'll be too difficult to keep with it in the long run. Take baby steps and good luck! try not to walk past the junk food, and think..if we know this stuff is bad for us than why do we eat it?...theres also some great tasteing health food out there these days :] |

Some do while others have vitamins which are more accessible when cooked, like lycopiene in tomatoes only is available if they are cooked. Cooking destroys some cancer-fighting nutrients, yet en... noone eats it uncooked, so they mean cooked ... |
