My Dwarf hamster may be pregnant? Any tips on telling and nutrition.?

So, yes, my Roborovski Dwarf hamster may be pregnant. I am not sure what to do. If she does have babies, I want them to be healthy. Any tips?

well if you have previously checked it's weight it surely would've roise by about 1 ounce. and if you are sure she hasn't met up with any males shes not going to be pregnant.but to be sure it is important that you see a vet. if you wait a month when the babies are born you can keep them and for the first few days feed them just plain yogurt(untill they have teeth) or if you do not want them you can sell them to a store or call animal controll. i hope i helped pal! :D
oh yeah if you go to the vet and they say she is pregnant you should feed her alot of grapes, strawberries, bananas and any other soft fruit/veggie

check her everyday for a week by stroking her back down to her tail to see if she freezes and lifts her tail if she does then she is not pregnant if she doesnt once in that week then she is pregnant for her to eat boil and egg every three day dont touch the babies intill they open there eyes maybe longer dont take them away from mom before the age of 3-4 weeks everytime thats how i know and it works Good Luck!!

Why would she be pregnant? Poor thing. Do you think the pet store mixed the sexes? I don't know much about them, but good luck getting advice.

Here is a list of things you should do.
1. Move the cage into a dark, queit place. Loud, sudden noises and too much light will stress the mother out after she ahs the pups, and she will kill them.
2. Remove the father from the cage if it's her first litter. Though sometimes the fathers fix the nest and bring mommy food, the mom will be stresses if he's there during her first litter. Precaution ^^
3. Make sure she has a mass amount of food, ebcause you should not bother her or touch her for the first week after the birth. If you must open the cage to get a water bowl, do it after you washes your hand to remvoe scents and make sure you are slow and silent so you don't startle her.
4. At day ten the pups should be ready to start exploring the cage. Try giving them little, skinless, bits of apple. It will begin to wean them from mothers milk and it will keep them hydrated, which they need if it's a litter of moe then four.
5. When the pups are three weeks old, you can hold them. You will get bitten, but they need to be social. Clean the cave now, because it's been three weeks of being dirty! You should be able to put dad back in now. He might fight with them, but he won't kill them this big.

At 3 months you can relocate them to new homes!

(Additional tips, feed pregnate mom some bits of egg, it's good for the litter. Make sure she dosn't hide them, becase if she eats it spoiled it will make her really sick. If you don't want to risk it, hold a spoonful of milk in there and let her drink some, it's fine for her. Brocollie can be given to the little guys at two months, too.)
