What nutrition do I need to consider for a serval kitten?

I am getting one next year and I know they eat raw meat. I am wondering if I should suppliment the diet with a cat food or what...

Nope, no need for "cat food". A balanced meat diet is appropriate for all felines... serval, lion, or domestic shorthair.

I personally feed a ground Raw Meat, Bones and Organ based diet to my cats and they are incredibly healthy on it. I HIGHLY recommend it. While scary at first, once I got the hang of it and felt comfortable with it it's a snap to prepare.

Cats are obligate carnivores after all and must derive ALL their nutrients from meat based sources. They are unable to absorb them from any other source. Despite thousands of years of domestication they remain strictly carnivorous. True and honest meat eaters and that is what they need most. Protein from meat!

The diet most commonly recommended is one consisting of raw, bone-in poultry and meat, supplemented with vitamins made for wild felines. I feed a variety of foods, with raw meat, fish, and poultry forming the base of the diet. Servals eat between one and three pounds of meat a day. It is generally regarded as safe to feed raw meat with bones included to servals. While this may go against what many people suggest for domestic animals, consider what these servals eat in the wild. Nobody removes the bones for them! However, it would be dangerous for you to feed cooked meat or poultry with bones in it to your serval (or any animal). When bones are cooked, they become more brittle and can splinter. Wow! I hope you are ready for what you get! Servals take a LOT of care and attention (not really them as much as their environment). I'm sure you know all of that.

Yes, cat food is appropriate, but not just any cat food. It needs to be a high end cat food- see link below. Also, raw meat, llike chicken and ground turkey is a must. They make really good mousers and will eat rodents and small birds (so if you have any other exotic pets, say fish or birds or ferrets you will have to keep them seperate).

I am not so sure that raw meat is the best thing to give, pet food has all the vitamins and nutrients a cat needs and it doesn't have to be expensive!
If you give him raw meat, he might get parasites.
