Digestion and nutrition assignment?

im doing a year 11 bio assignment on digestion, diet and nutrition.
finished most and forgot to bring my text book home so i need to know answers to these. cant find anything on net..
- Explain what happens to your body if you do not consume enough energy for your daily activities.
- Explain what happens to any energy consumed that is not used up in daily activities.

and what are the subunits and chemical components of carbs, proteins, water, and lipids.

needs to be done by tomoz so help is greatly appreciated as my parents have no clue about bio.

if you do not consume enough energy for your daily activities they you will be converting your fat into energy (fat iss just energy storage) but you can die from not having enough vitamins, minerals, and ectt.
----you just become weak because it is alot harder to convert that fatt into energy than it is to convert glucose into energyy--that's why it's very important to eat carbss (plants, and animals that eat plants)

it just is storedd like in fatt -triglyceridess ect. carbs and protiens act as energy storages too.

carbs-subunit is a saccaride CC is Carbon, Hydrogen, Oxygen

protien- subunit is an amino acid CC is Carbon, Hydrogen, Oxygen, and Nitrogen

lipid-subunit is a triglyceride or phospholipid, or ectt. --made of a head and tail(s)
head can be glyceral, choline, or phosphate
tail is fatty acids.
CC is Carbon, Oxygen, Hydrogen

Water-is the most abundant chemical in the body, very important! Hydrogen and Oxygen.

There is no way you cannot find this info on the Internet. You can find anything there.

But these are important topics, so here you go...

If you do not consume enough energy (calories) for your daily activities, you will get hungry and week, and your metabolism will actually slow down.

Energy that is not used up in daily activities will be stored as fat.

Tina was right about the first half of your question...and then went and left the second half for me! I thought she was on a roll. Hehe... ;-)

Carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen are the main chemical components of carbohydrates, proteins, water, and lipids.

Subunits (some examples: by no means comprehensive):
Carbohydrates: monosaccharides, polysaccharides...
Proteins: dipeptides, polypeptides...
Lipids: phospholipids...

My nutrition is very rusty, though, so make sure you double-check all that with your textbook (I don't have one handy right now).
