Nutrition for swimming hardcore? |
Hi, High protein, high carbs and moderate fats. For swimming that much you need the carbs! That whole notion of carbs aren't good for you is complete B.S.!! If you're working out a lot and seems like u do, then you need to load up. Fats are what causes fat build up!! I Box and I need to more carbs it seems to have enough energy to run 3-4 miles a day and be in the gym for 2 hrs. Fruits such as bananas are really great for swimming. If you eat something high protein after your warm-up but before you swim then it will really help your body in the water. |
