Im starting the P90x soon and I don't like how the nutrition guide is set up, Can i do something else?

I started the program and got great results in 30days and I didnt follow the nutrition diet, BUT I eat healthy anyways! If you want good results you HAVE to eat right. I am not saying you cannot cheat once in a couple weeks, BUT you must make your meals healthy if you want results.
What worked the best for me is make sure you dont eat 3 hours before bed and make sure you eat something every 3 hours. Eat small snacks (Banannas, Yougart, PBJ, Apple, Oranges, I think you get the point)
Pre-Make your own meals, FAST FOOD WILL NOT CUT IT.

Alex,

Excellent question, it is recommended that you follow the nutrition guide. However there are a lot of people on my team, who follow The Abs Diet, which is what I am currently doing. Generally as long as you follow some kind of healthy eating plan you should be alright.

Hope this helps,

A lot of X'ers use fitday.com to achieve the appropriate dietary balance...for example, phase 1 fatburners should have a ratio of 50/30/20 Protein/Carbs/fats. Phase two is 45/35/20 and phase 3 is 40/40/20...the fats should not be saturated at all times possible (nuts, lowfat dairy, olive oil) your carbs should be low-glycemic (non-sugary) except before and after workout drinks, and you should attempt to eliminate completely trans fats, cholesterol, high fructose corn syrup, carbonated soft drinks, and anything that has the words 'hydrogenated' or 'enriched' in the ingerdients list....happy X'ing!
