Will I get enough nutrition and vitamins from this meal plan? |
This is my meal plan, I'm not sure if it is healthy or not. I am a vegetarian and I do not eat fish, chicken or meat however I do include diary in my diet. I do not eat many green vegetables because many do not have much taste but if you know how I can make them taste nice please let me know in your answer. If I need to change something in my diet or you think something is extremely unhealthy then let me know what to change. I must have the Sanitarium Up & Go liquid breakfast as I do have very limited time in the morning. Well this is my meal plan: It seems as if you are using a lot of processed foods, and not nearly enough fruits and vegetables. I assume the liquid breakfast and the boost bars are vitamin/energy drinks? These may have vitamins, but the body better absorbs nutrients from actual foods(whole grains, vegetable, fruits, etc). This website, run by the Mayo Clinic, has a copy of the vegetarian food pyramid on it. If you use it to plan your diet you will be fine. Greens taste better if you mix them wtih other veggies. God no. What a lot of junk. Damn, son, you need to add some real food to your diet. My suggestion is to ask yourself how you can make a meal more nutritious. Let's break it down for what it really is: You don't have nearly enough fruits and vegetables in this. If you feel vegetables don't have much taste then combine them with other things or just eat them anyway for the nutrients. I enjoy many vegetables raw or lightly steamed with a squeeze of lemon juice and sprinkle of salt. I disagree with vegetarianism, as much as i respect it, but it's not the most nutritious diet. |
