What should i major in? Optometry or Nutrition? Restuarant management?

I'm thinking about being an optthalmologist, but i want to also own my own restuarant.

Can i major in pre-optometry and minor in some kind of restuarant something or other?

What should i do?

Im also considering nutrition major? with a restuarant managing minor?

Are these combos possible?

i want to own my own like cafe like type thing. bakery thingy.

Optometry and ophthalmology are different careers.

Pre-optometry is not a major but a concentration. Can you go into restaurant management and fulfill the pre-optometry pre-requisites. As long as you have those classes done, you can apply to optometry schools.

Just for your information, you probably wont be able to manage a restaurant while in optometry school. With a graduate/doctorate degree, it will be hard doing something else while practicing optometry.

It is best to choose a career that matches your interests. Otherwise, even if you are successful, you will not be happy with your work.
