when looking at nutrition facts, what whould i look out for?
and whats the highest it should be at? like, ive read its best to eat foods below 300mg for sodium. and that total carb should be low too, but whats the highest healthy amount of grams?

so if you can, tell me what everything should be at the highest when trying to lose fat and weight.

Eh, I would stay away from them. They offer little nutritional value and only one gram of protein per serving. Not to mention that ANYTHING processed is not considered healthy.

In other words, it's not as bad as eating a krispy kreme, but you would be better off eating these to get carbs and fiber:

Do not exceed 2000 mg sodium per day.
Calories, depending on your height/weight, should generally be around 2000 calories/day, and usually 1800 for a male looking for weight loss and 1500 for women looking for weight loss. It depends. But DO NOT go below 1200/day otherwise your body will enter starvation mode and there are many complications to that.
Fiber should be around 26 g/day, I believe.
Calories are the sole factor in determining weight loss. It doesn't matter if you eat pure fat, so long as you stay at a certain amount of cals it's all the same.
1000 cals of fat is the same as 1000 cals of carbs. Calories are energy units. If your body uses less energy than you consume, it will store the excess energy in the form of fat.
Excessive salt DOES NOT lead to fat gain. It may make you bloat, therefore making you feel swollen and larger, but that's because it causes you to retain water. If you accidentally eat too much sodium then constantly rehydrate yourself with water to flush out the sodium.
And "nonfat" foods does not mean that they do not contain calories. Nonfat foods simply have no fat calories, and I suppose some people are on low fat diets for the sake of heart health. You need fat in your diet. Some ignorant people like to think that "nonfat foods" = weight loss. It does not. Again, CALORIES determine whether you gain or lose weight, but eat too little and you're going to suffer from serious medical complications.
Whoo. What a mouthful.
Good luck. :)
it all depends on what diet you are on. some require low calories, some do low carbs and some do high protein. i think as a general rule you should cut back on fatty foods. foods high in sodium and sugar should also be avoided. the granola bar is low in fat(which is good) but has a lot of sodium. like i said, it depends on what diet you are on. personally i eat one for breakfast to hold me over till lunch if i have no other option/.
You can eat it, but not to replace a meal. You could have it as a mid morning snack with a piece of fruit. Glad to see they finally reduced the sugar in those things. Used to be over 20g.

Just remember......whole grains are better as far as carbs. You subtract the fiber grams from the total carbs and that number is your true carbs for that item.

one granola bar is good enough
Sorry but I wouldn't eat one of those! They're loaded with carbs and sugar, and have almost 0 protein. The carb and protein count should be switched: it should be 19g protein / 1g carbs. Get some protein bars instead.
Sugar (carbs) = fat
Protein = muscle
