Where do I find good programs (academics) in Nutrition?

Hi, can you please provide some information about the following?

For someone who knows nothing about nutrition, but wishes to do a course/program, and have a part time career in it,

1 - where must I start? Do I have to do a graduate degree in (BA or MA) Nutrition? Or do I do a course to become a Nutritionist?

2 - Are there any good schools that you can recommend in any of these three states - CA OR and WA.

Thanks for your suggestions.

Answering the question from a English perspective, experience is a vast part of the training and qualification. You can do a BA degree in nutrition and hospitals use a lot of nutritionist as they are needed for different meals for patients with different illnesses. As for where in the states I have no idea.
