Halloween, did you contribute to teeth decay, obesity, and diabetes this year?

Do you think you share some responsibility for these problems?

Wow people, I feel like I've been beat up and kicked to the curb! Thanks alot!!

NO.
Absolutely not.

Non sugar-Fruit treats and homemade oatmeal cookies were what I had ready to give out.

Hope that is acceptable.

Kids who get too much sugar will have a hard time sitting still in school tomorrow.

OH MY GOD!! its once a year!!!! let the kids have their fun...and if the kids overweight or in bad health, the parents responsiblty to not let the kids trick or treat

What is your deal Wayne? Would you like a piece of my son's candy to cheer you up?

Halloween is once a year ((ONE TIME)) so the treats the kids get that night, has nothing to do with teeth decay, obesity, or especially diabetes. Come on be realistic here.

Teeth decay is from not brushing properly.
Obesity is from excess eating, no exercise, and sometimes genetics.
Diabetes is usually from genetics or old age.

Come on, don鈥檛 spoil the fun of Halloween!!

Yes I did, what else do u give young children as a treat for Halloween, a pencil and notepad ?? I had at least 50 trick or treaters at my door, to give a toy to each and everyone is beyond my budget, as is passing out fruit or home made health foods that parents r suspicious of. I have no guilt about giving out sweets to the kids once a year, that's the responsibility of the parent to dole out the treats from time to time.

No, I went to school like I should have. There were only 2 or 3 other people there tonight, besides the teacher. I had an invitation, but I guess I'm just not responsible!

I went trick or treating until I was - 12 or 13 - I was underweight. Didn't have too many cavities - but they didn't happen because of Halloween. Diabetes isn't a problem.
Took both of my kids trick or treating till they were 12 or 13, neither of them are/were overweight, no diabetes, and hardly any cavities, now my grandson who is 7 - almost 8 has been trick or treating every year since he was 3 , is not overweight, isn't diabetic, and doesn't have any cavities.

It's not Halloween that's too blame for those things. It's the parents who let their kids eat sweets and sit on their butts all year round.

whoa...people are pretty unnecessarily harsh toward you...dont ya think???
WELL i still love you

il need all the love i can get with my retarded children to raise....you know it
