Does obesity affect HcG levels in pregnancy?

I am 13 days late and considered obese. I have taken 4 HPTs, 2 cheap brands, and EPT and one at the doctors I work at, All were BFN. Last test I took was on 9 days late. I haven't done a blood test yet but I have frequent urination, headaches sore breast and slight cramping. Is there avhance my HcG levels are being affected by my weight?

I had a Pregnancy test done at my job when AF was 5 days late. It was negative. I will go get a blood test done this week if the HPT I have a home still shows negative. I have had hormone testing done and I did not have any hormonal imbalance.

hormones can change ur period, some obese women who grow facial hair and stuff, stop their period all together, did the one that the Dr. had done work?

NO, as I am considered obese, I am 238 pounds.
And I am pregnant and I got a faint positive at 11dpo.

But being obese can effect your periods, like PCOS I would check it out with your doctor.

Good Luck and take care.

I don't think so....I am obese and I had several positive tests 5-6 days before my I expected my period. I'm not saying you aren't pregnant, but I don't think that your weight would cause the tests to read negative.

I was 8 days late and got a clear positive. I'm considered overweight too so I don't think that has anything to do with it!

i was thinking the same thing
