Obesity... why?

why is obesity is a media issue in australia???????

help!!!!!!!!!!

Some sad skinny people trying to justify being skinny.Fat people are happy eating what they want to eat.

Mass obesity is a really serious issue on many levels. The cost of an obesity epidemic to the public health system through an increase in obesity related illness is an issue but I think what is more alarming is that there is a huge problem with childhood obesity now. So many children are becoming obese at a very early age, and are now beginning to suffer medical problems that were previously exclusive to adults and the elderly, such as heart attacks, high blood pressure and cholesterol, diabetes, etc etc etc. This is a major public health concern.
Australia is quickly approaching the type of health crisis that America is suffering, where obesity seems to be the norm, the average meal size is much larger than ours and the lifestyle is increasingly sedentary. How long before we start seeing larger cinema seating and custom car seating catering to the obese in Australia. For the average person it is becoming increasingly difficult to stay at a healthy weight because of convenience and lifestyle, so something needs to be done to tackle the problem.

personally i think it is all about Australia not wanting to turn out like America. with super size meals and clothes sizes. the government problem want to help the public to stay healthy for their own good. when i finish school i want to be a nutritionist that helps people that are suffering obesity and other eating issues. no one should be offended because it just in the media so young people don't think it is OK to be really unhealthy, it is really promoting: look after yourselves

The media want people to wake up and face the facts. We ARE becoming overweight, compared to previous generations.

Being fat isn't such a bad thing when you're younger, but a prolonged unhealthy bodyweight can lead to serious diseases. Bowel cancer, increased chance of heart attacks and diabetes will affect obese people. This means we need more health insurance and money to care for obese people. Which means we need more money from the government.

It creates this large reaction. It's a serious issue, and it needs to be addressed. It's not like you should ignore it. Think of the millions of dollars spent on our health. Those millions could have been spent on schools, tourism attractions and other things.

So like yeah. Peace out!

Partly, its just economical issue. Obese people live shorter, cost more for healthcare as they get hearth and some other diseases much more often. Also, long term they enjoy much less of life (except food) as often their mobility is limited.
Sure, if one is happy the way he is, then who cares.

I suggest that you take the time to read my blog where I talk about everything related to fat loss and muscle building.

http://fatburnmachine.blogspot.com/

Think of it like this... if you follow the instructions on the blog weight loss and muscle building should only take one attempt. Why go through frustrating struggles and risk injury when you can do it the right way.

When I purchased this it actually got me off the couch and got me to work out, because I did NOT want my money going to waste. I hope you will have the same results that I did.

good luck
