What's your idea to cure the global obesity epidemic?

I don't think anyone can deny that it's a huge problem (no pun intended).

Parents should be the role model, if the parents' eating habit is unhealthy, of course they are gonna feed their kids the same thing. Laziness is the culprit! Processed food too! I just feel really sad for overweight people, my cousin is 13 and she has high blood pressure!

Yes, it is a health problem being heavy, overweight, and unfortunately obese. All of these are different categories. Just as being to thin is a health problem. But no one here is saying anything about that? Are they?

I am fat. overweight, heavy, however you want to say it. Why? Well I don't sit around watching TV or stuffing my face.
I walk a mile everyday. And eat as health as any of you do. So why am I fat? Bad thyroid I was born with and I also take life saving medication that without I would die for a condition that is none of your right to know. That is why I am heavy.
I am clean, wear nice clothes, and I am a good person.Yet so many of you conclude that I don't deserve to be anywhere on this planet. Is that what you'll teach your children? Hate is okay if it is a certain "type" of person. How sad for you who think that way.
As for the obesity epidemic put away the game boys and etc. let children play outside again. And everyone could eat a lot healthier no matter what their size. Overwhelmingly I agree fast food is almost the number 1 factor. We need to have these places change their whole outlook on the food they serve and portion sizes as well. well its the peoples own fault. if they want to be fat let it be but i for one sure dont like to see really fat people 'lumbering' down the street. its just really embarrassing. i think society is doing enough to promote health and fitness but we the people are not taking heed of it
oh my way to cure it is to get all the fat people in the world and use them to block the 'o-zone' layer thus solving the problem of global warming!

cut down on all the fast food shops - that is what is getting peole fat - and .....do excersize.....................

there are so many, fast food shops these days - ......mcdonals, burgerking, pizza hut..... - i think that going to macdnals - once you have finished your meal - you feel fat, so you dont have the energy to jump around burning calories



a machiene - runn to listen to your fave music - or like above said........................." power running to work tv

take out Mickey D's. Soda, Burger King, Wendys, all the fat foods and make people eat salads for months!!!

or have people take Isegenix! im on that program its cleansing and weight loss and in just one day with the clensing ive already lost 4lbs!!

and im not even big!! im just doing the clensing!

get rid of all fast food joints and make tvs to run on running power stuff....

Kill all the skinny people so noone looks at people and calls them obese
