What other factors (may) contribute to obesity besides the following...?

What other factors (may) contribute to obesity besides these:

- low metabolism digestion
- eating foods high in calories (i.e. fast food)
- little or no exercise

Fast food actually has very little effect, according to studies. It's a popular target to blame, and obviously it can make you sick if you eat too much of it, but ANYTHING can make you sick if you eat too much of it.

Most obesity is caused by genetics. A much smaller amount is caused by eating too much. Beyond that, there are a number of medical conditions or drug side effects that can cause weight gain. Even being on the pill can cause weight gain.

most people dont know this but not eating breakfast is a big one! most people dont eat breakfast to loose weight but it has the opposite affect. Think about it, the amount of time you sleep is a long time to go without food if you were awake, although this is normal for your body, if you dont re-fuel in the morning you are starving yourself without even knowing it. if you do it frequently as most people do, your body starts to store fat as a reaction and protection in preparation for the next time your body gets unexpectedly starved by not eating breakfast. your body starts to notice a pattern and adapts to it by storing extra body fat in case it doesnt get nourishment from food after starvation. If you usually eat normally and then dont eat breakfast for a while you will gain weight and definitally not loose weight. all my friends who dont eat breakfast have a weight problem!

hey guess what? Obesity doesn't always come with bad food and little exercise you body could be using carbs wrong and storing them so your still hungry you could have bad thyroid it could be genetics you could be allergic to something and not know it so whenever you eat you bloat up, there are lots of other explanations besides eating bad food and not exorcising, because hey i'm not really skinny in fact i'm a little overweight but guess what i dance hip hop everyday for 2 hours and eat healthy, lie i can't eat carbs dairy or fruit or wheat and i have to take 15 pills a day and two disgusting shakes that make me want to vomit so next time try to think of some more logical explanations, THANK YOU VERY MUCH YOU SON OF A *****!

Sometimes if you are taking medication you can gain weight from them. I know it from experience that I am dealing with now.
