No carbs for obesity weight loss? |
what do u think, will this help? didnt say anything about Adkins. makes sense to me. carbs help me gain weight, therefore laying off of them will make you lose it. i guess that is essentially what the adkins diet is.. all meat and no carbs.. but don't overdo it. just cut back some and replace with yogurt, fruits, vegetables, a bit of rice and a bit of carbs here and there, but learn to cut back the amounts and replace and add other foods. No the body needs carbs the problem with no carbs diet is you will lose energy and its a hard diet to stay on however it does work, you might prefer do do a low carb no more than 20 carbs a day for a week to get your body in fat burning mode then after a week maybe go to 30 carbs but at max stay under 50 carb a day. there is a book and he is on the enter net by Rob Faigin ( Natural Hormonal Enhancement ). dont avoid carbs but consume in small amounts because in small amounts they can be turned effectively into fuel for moderate workouts to burn off the fat...just keep carb, fat and lean protein portions small, thats all such as 1 slice of bread or 3 spoons of rice/noodles per lunch/dinner like that... instead of avoiding all carbs, avoid only the BAD carbs. ex sugar, white potato, white bread, white past, white rice, and stick to wheat bread, veggies, brown rice, etc Lack of carbs causes brain damage. People who tell people to stop eating carbs should be shot. Carboydrates are essential for energy, stimulating brain activity, and should make up 70% of your diet. The key is making sure they're natural carbs, not processed ones. |
