Free Swimming Pools in Britain. A Welcome Move in the Fight Against Obesity???

BBC Article from Todays BBC Site highlighting the British Government plans for free swimming pool entry for all by 2012 -

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7439182.st...

Any Views???

I don't think they are going to force people to use them, they may be encouraged to use them and the fact that they are free will no doubt mean more people will inevitable use them.

Swimming lessons at many schools are already compulsory, but I can't see the Givernment forcing the adult population.

This is a typical fix for a socialist style of government. IF people don't want to use them are they going to be FORCED to use them.
