What are ways of controling or overcoming obesity?

Diet and exercise

I can give you a tried and true answer quickly but if you want to have solid weight loss then that will not be quick. There is no healthy "magic fairy dust" that will safely take off weight.

I tried every kind of wackadoo diet and only Weight Watchers worked to get it off and keep it off. I would highly recommend going to the weekly meetings. The people who are there really give good personal tips and strategies. It is a great support system while you go on this journey.

I say try goin with water and teas for a while
or at least stop drinking soda for about two weeks..

and instead of the fruit juice, eat the fruit.

maybe when youre full chew a sugar free gum, so you wont feel the need to eat anymore

and DONT go on the scale daily..
go on maybe..once a week
because your weight can fluctuate at times..

and exercise.
maybe by starting off walking in the mornings..

but dont start off hard
start basic, and then gradually do more strenuous activity.

find the cause. see your doctor for a full medical work up and a referral to a nutritionist.
