obesity problems with pre-kindergarten kids

My daughter weighed 50 pounds for about 3 years. My wife just kept a watch on her diet and let her grow out of her problem.

I have witnessed such, and find it most deplorable. Parents who allow this should be reported for abuse, as they are ruining their child's chances of ever having a normal weight without extreme pains to do such.
Yes, it's a problem.
But, not only with pre-k children.
