Because we all sit on our computers answering questions instead of going out side and doing something Source(s): 934 points on yahoo! answers
WELL i thought stress was the silent killer . and the main reson for alot of deaths.
Because of the staggering amount of Americans that are by sheer number. America is one country where the majority do not have to ration their intake. On the same token, the majority do not have the knowledge or motivation to exercise right either. These two aspects make it incredibly easy to become overweight.

"Poll results show that 80 percent of people older than 25 are overweight based on the body mass index (BMI), a national guideline computed through a combination of weight and height. That figure has risen from 71 percent in 1995, 64 percent in 1990 and 58 percent in 1983."

That was a poll taken in 2002. Almost four years later, I doubt it has gotten better. My second source has some facts on obesity.

That's 938.

Don't forget, we eat salty, greasy, sweet, over-processed food with little to no nutrional value. Many of us "don't like" salad or as my fat friend literally said "don't do that whole vegetable thing".
because we eat and eat eat and we can't stop ourselves. And most of are depression with our lives .So we eat . And we don't exercise oh no.
