Issue regarding obesity in relation to race...? |
Why is it that american women or caucasian are fatter than asians like Koreans, Japanese or Chinese? Hey racist you forgot one, African Americans. cause of their diet??? come on you already knew the answer to that one :) I guess eating cats and dogs is better for you than beef and chicken. You need to reword the question, obesity has nothing to do with race, whatever that might be. Americans are fat because they eat too much and that applies to Americans of all origins. Koreans, asians, and Chinese ppl have a way better diet, thats why they are thinner and in better shape.* Obesity is a symptom of Womens liberation: fad diets, less household responsibility, more time at leisure, more choice in male partner (an obese woman would accept anything longer than 6") - I love those Asian chicks you mention - For one thing, nowadays it's just become acceptable or even the norm to be overweight in America esp. in the south. In fact, being overweight/obese is arguably part of Southern culture. And if you ever see Japanese people on Tv they go to a restaurant and get a tiny plate with a relative tiny portion, but go to America and people are supersizing their meals. And I'd say it's for the most and depending on the group in question obesity is a male and female thing. There's the general sedentary lifestyle and diets lacking in fruits and veggies (except for fries and tomato sauce on pizza). It's not always how much you eat, but what you are eating. I'm relatively thin and eat more than a lot of overweight people, but I'm not eating greasy deep fried chicken, fries, or some other high fat food but instead eating baked or stir fried veggies and fruits. |
