How does childhood obesity causes type 2 diabetes? |
How does childhood obesity causes type 2 diabetes? being obese means you have more fatty tissue, having more fatty tissue causes the body to become insulin resistant and becoming insulin resistant causes the body to put on more weight.. become more resistant and so on and so forth.. at a certain level of resistance, it becomes known as diabetes ... so, keep the fat down and muscle up (more muscle lowers insulin resistance) and it will lower the chances of diabetes... It doesn't ,all Diabetes is caused from a Chromium and vanadium deficiency. too much fat and sugar in the bloodstream causes the insulin in your body to go too high or too low In type 2 diabetes, the pancreas makes too little insulin and the cells throughout the body are unable to respond to the insulin that is produced. The result is a build-up of glucose in the blood, which eventually spills over into the urine. High blood glucose levels are responsible for the many health problems associated with diabetes. Type 2 diabetes is also known as non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (NIDDM) or adult onset diabetes. More commonly, it's called type 2. How common is type 2 diabetes? People with type 2 usually develop the condition after age 45, and the risk for getting it increases with age. However, the number of children with type 2 diabetes is increasing rapidly.
