Is gluttony (and obesity) a sin?

Is gluttony (and obesity) a sin?

Yes absolutely....you are suppose to eat to live not live to eat....obesity in itself is not a sin, some people can't help that they are obese, some really have glandular problems.....gluttony is the sin.
It is considered one of the 7 deadly sins. It isn't necessarily a moral sin, but it does tend to short life, hence it is deadly.
gluttony yes according to Christianity is a sin
however ... not everyone who is obese is glutinous , they may have health probs etc ... so that would be quite different
Yes if you believe in the 7 deadly sins.
However, it's what you do about it that
matters most.
according to the bible yes
yes and judging from the outside america is just full of sinners.

reminds you of locusts somehow.....america gobbling up the rest of the world to feed its fat belly!
The seven deadly sins are virtues in moderation. The seven holy virtues are bad when done in extreme.

Sin is an outdated concept. Instead of just being spoon-fed your morality, try using your brain instead.
