How should we tackle obesity in the UK? |
What can be done? why should we tackle obesity? if someone enjoys their food and makes a decision to be the size they are then who are you to suggest we should do something about them? Its like a fat person saying how do we tackle women dying their hair? Whats that got to do with anything - its someones choice to dye their hair just like it is someones choice to eat more than average and not exercise. Its got nothing to do with anyone. If someone wants to be fat let them be fat. If someone wants to buy a Ford car let them buy a Ford car. If someone wants to go to the gym 7 days a week and eat healthily then let them do that. IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU OR ANYONE ELSE. Tax calories. Taxation is usually the only way the government knows to solve any problem. Wire their jaws up Like smoking, it takes a long time to change bad habits but it can be done, by education and taxation people should worry about themselves and mind there own business I should be in charge of feeding fat kids, they would be skinny in a couple of weeks because I can't cook! My poor kids just pick at their dinners and push the plate away. Seriously, it all comes down to education. I wasn't taught how to cook even the basic meals, I only learned to do mash in my mid twenties so I buy those frozen meals that you thrown in the oven for twenty minutes and my kids aren't as healthy as they should be. Vicious circle, I can't cook so my kids don't see how and they'll be as bad as me and feed their own family the same way, we should be taught in school. Nutrition isn't understood or instilled and it's wrong and it's that simple to sort out. <sarcasm> Like it is being done to smokers : criminalize fast food and those who manufacture, sell or eat the stuff. It's for their own good after all, isn't it? </sarcasm> > How should we tackle obesity in the UK? . |
