WIth the craze about obesity and fast food, what do you think about taco bell's 4th meal ad campaign?

If you're not familiar, taco bell is advertising for a 4th meal between dinner and breakfast, I'd assume aimed at people out partying with the munchies. I think this takes balls considering all the bad press McDs has gotten. Thoughts?

personally i don't have a problem with any of it.. we all know that it might not be good for you, but there are alot of other bad things out there... it's up to us to purchase it or not... nobodys twisting our arm...
i agree that it takes balls.. but they are (like you said) marketing towards a particular age group.. the "party" group and because they aren't marketing towards children they won't catch near as much hell as McD's
I think its cool, especially for people that are looking for places to eat at that time of the hour since there arent many places open but it may be another thing fat people need to be careful about so that they dont overdo their eatting habits.
it is definately promoting overeating which leads to obesity...
Obviously, they are just trying to promote their products. No worse than the ridiculous Stacker sandwiches Burger King has come out with! That amount of meat is gross! The whole sandwich is a heart attack waiting to happen!
The bottom line is fast food restaurants want to sell more product. If our health is in jeopardy, it doesn't matter as long as the bad PR doesn't overshadow sales.
i agree... i was surprised to hear them advertising the eating at a time where, (healthily) we're not supposed to eat, and it's taco bell...to be kinda stretching it.

Another interesting thing that I heard yesterday on the radio is that restaurants in Los Angeles may be forced to take items off the menu that contain more than a gram of trans fat per serving... to which the cooks replied, "not only will that raise the cost, but it will lose some of the taste."

I thought that was kind of interesting as well =)
