I believe that obesity is a problem period for the young and old in America. We are a fast food nation, and it shows. I highly suggest watching the documentary "Supersize Me"... IT's a realistic and frightening examination of the subject!

It is important because it means they will make poorer slaves in the future, suffer more health problems, etc. take up all the parking spaces in front of the shopping malls, and probably turn to cannabalism when food shortages occur because everyone is too fat and lazy to grow, hunt, fish or trap their own.
