Is the food industry responsible for obesity?

does the food industry have anything to do with obesity

No way! A person has to take responsibility for the thing they eat. It is easier to place blame then fess up to there own problems. I never blamed the food industry for gaining weight, I was the one who couldn't fine the time to cook a healthy meal for myself or instead of grabbing the trail mix i grabbed the cupcakes. they didn't force me to do, I did it myself. My problem not there's, I take responsibility for my actions. Its time to stop blaming everyone else and start looking at who is really at fault. there are good foods out there, they just choose not to eat them.
Wrong!

The food is made to be addictive. Thus obesity is only one of the by-products. Diabetes, heart attack and many other illnesses can be directly blamed on the food industry.

no
well i dont think so because people are responsible for how much they eat , heavy peole need to stop blaming the food industry and about this mcdonalds thing nobody makes you get a hamburger
no, people's lack of willpower has to do with obesity.
Each individual is responsible for his or her own eating choices. HOWEVER! The food industry does not help with their huge servings and the way they prepare food.
