Does gravity has an effect on obesity in North America? |
The strength of gravitational field is higher at the north pole of earth which makes me wonder whether gravity has an effect on obesity in North America. if I was living in Africa , the strength of gravity is less therefore I would have less chances in gaining weight if I live in Africa. what do you think? It would have a very, very, very small effect on weight. However, true obesity is determined by the body mass index (BMI). Mass is the same regardless of gravity. So technically, no, gravity has no effect on obesity. However, you would gain a very slightly larger amount of weight if you lived in North America than in Africa. I think you need to consider sobriety...for a change. WTF. no. if thats what you think gravity is the same all over the planet You will never have a less chance of gaining weight bc of gravity. Your mass will still be the same; you will just look different. I'm not sure, but because the world rotates, the gravity should be even from time to time. The gravity will not effect obesity. It's common since really. just think about it |
