What role does family, lifestyle play in obesity?

what health related risk factors increase with obesity?

Hypertension
Hyperlipidemia
Heart Disease
Liver Disease
Kidney Disease

Family and Lifestyle are the only factors effecting obesity if you think about it. Family is the genetic component that affects lifestyle. Lifestyle involves you mental status, physical activity and eating habits.
It all plays a part. But the main problem is with the obese person themselves. It can be in the genetics, large families who focus too much on eating, friends who are also food focused don't help. But no one forces anyone to eat and eat and eat. The obese person has to take responsibility for packing on the pounds. Most obese people eat emotionally. They eat when they are happy, sad, scared, in love, out of love, anger....on and on. They have to get help and learn how to handles life's issues without eating over them. It's just like a drug addict who picks up a drink or a line of coke when they can't seem to handle life. Unfortunately with food...you CAN'T just stop eating. You have to learn how to eat to live....not live to eat.
well I am not sure t plays a role in getting obese..
because you have very happy loving families who kiss and hug and give of themselves and give gifts and they are fat people...
and you have families who never ever sit down and have a meal together or they will break out in a fight...and they are also fat...
but if some one feels neglected, they tend to eat to make themselves happy, and if this happens enough the weight will continue to go up..
and as the weight goes up, so does the blood pressure, the cholesterol, and maybe even diabetes comes in...not to mention form diabetes your kidneys can fail, your eye site can fail, and you can get open sores on your body, and you can also get arthritis,
and a whole slew of other things...including depression, and the worse the depression the heavier they get...

good luck
smile
have a great day
