What has the government done to prevent childhood obesity?

What has the government done to prevent childhood obesity?

Enabled more free lunches and breakfasts for kids who done get enough at home. Then they enabled virtually every kids friendly-food to contain high amounts of sugars, fats, and virtually no nutritional value. On top of that they allowed these foods to be marketed and mass produced for such a cheap price that parents have virtually no choice BUT to buy them.
What about the parents? Why should the government do anything? Since when is it their job to keep people from being fat?
absolutly nothing. they're too dumb for that.
What should the government do, grab the fries out of our hands?
I do not want the government deciding are playing a role in childhood obesity..that is a waste of tax money..parents need to work to prevent childhood obesity
Why should the government get involved in the job of the parents? Don't you think the government is big enough?
Why does the government have to do anything? I feel that it is the parent's responsibility to watch what their children eat, and how much of it they do eat. If we were to expect the government to do something to control that, then they would want to control other aspects of our lives. How would we be a free nation then?
