Thankfully it's not, I take care of myself.
Cost of health care. Lose some weight people!
It's caused health problems I might otherwise not have; this led to disability discrimination. My obesity was the product of long term oral steroids prescibed by my doctor for lupus. It ruined me and i have been fighting it ever since.

I am discriminated against. I can't get a job. People are openly rude to me (it's fatties and smokers who are the last remaining people who others feel they can be rude to with no repercussions). Although the majority of Americans (67% or 2/3) are overweight, they are the 2nd class citizens, seen as stupid and lazy and lacking will power, not worth caring about or being friends with or hiring.
I have a whole blog about it.
