What is more costly for society: complications from obesity or complications from not wearing a seat belt?

I am not 100% sure, but I would venture a guess that obesity causes the most monetary damage to society.
its got to be obesity. its a major cause of heart disease, diabetes, and cancer which kill millions of american lives and hundreds of billions of dollars every year versus poor seatbelt wearing maybe costing a couple thousand lives every year
obesity.
Being too fat your in danger all the time but you are not in a car all the time so I would say being fat is worst.
Definitely obesity. Heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, orthopedic injures........just a few of the complications that can result from obesity........and all of them come with their own range of complications. Obesity causes more lost time from work than any other major diease.
