How do I write a satircal essay about obesity? |
I just need some ideas to start with. help plz? Ah! Obesity, the last legal prejudice. When I was a psych major we would replace adictions with another noun - remove "alcohol" and replace it with "rye bread". Then hold a conversation as if... "I often eat rye bread when I'm alone. Sometimes I hide a loaf in the garage so that no one will know how much rye bread I've been eating. If they told me to 'quit eating rye bread or lose your job' I would need to sneak rye bread when one one was looking. I think they shold raise the rye-bread-eating-age to 25 to protect those who are too young to make an informed decision about it." base it on an animal then its not offensive to people directly or a painting eg botero http://www.limbueytor.com/upload/botero.... have you ever stopped and noticed the ***(refer to some fat animal, thing or person)***, well the reason for its condition is that .... and add some mcdonalds n all that yada hudda... does this help? fat ads Take "A Modest proposal" approach. Possibly talk about fixing the obesity problem by feeding obese people to homeless. You could also talk about how wonderful it is being out of shape and everything that goes along with it(shortness of breath, inactivity, health problems). In a world of obese people, the skinny would be looked upon as freaks. Everyone would try to fatten them up. This could be hilarious. Thin of it -- skinny isn't cuddly. You'd starve during a famine. No round curves. Etc. Forget the animals -- it's been done too often. Write about obese humans being the attractive type. Girls love to grab an obese man's rolls. Men love to watch women jiggle as they slowly walk across the street. Guys drool when an obese woman wears a pink bikini. ... |
