Why are people so defensive over questions about obesity and divorce?

It seems that people who call themselves Christians want to "sweep under the rug" and not talk about issues/sins that they may be guilty of..they don't want to look at their own life. I ask the question about obesity, and I am told not to judge others...blah, blah, blah...but, you are the same ones judging me for being gay.

Again, you cannot have it both ways..you cannot only preach on the scriptures that you find relevant to others...

Most atheists I meet are in very good shape; they don't want to die of a heart attack at age 44 because they respect life.Amen to that. All sins are equal to God, but not to most of God's followers. And no one has ever grasped the "judge not" concept.
I've said this a lot: few Christians practice what they preach.
Someone... somewhere is offended about every single topic on here. I dont let it get to me.
