What can we do as citizens to stop the obesity epidemic?

worry about yourself,and not others!!!
other than educate people you know... nothing. people make their own choices... no matter what you do... all you can do is give people information about this problem.
brian are you obese? --- It cannot be helped by some people it is a medical condition of some long term drugs. and people do not realise this and to do anything i think would be encroaching on their fee will civil rights AS THEY CANT HELP IT!! I BET LOTS OF PEOPLE AGREE WITH THIS.

Slow down. It seems the faster life passes by us the fatter we get. And we do a lot of sitting as well. Stress, TV, computer, boredom all pretty good at laying on the calories. We munch on things on the run and don't even realize we're eating.
nothing other than not dating an obese woman, so your child won't get it
Stay away from all fast food restaurants, eat a lot of healthy salads and drink water.
