Do you think Parents are blame for child's obesity? |
Do you think Parents are blame for child's obesity? Not necessarily, genes contribute greatly when it comes to obesity for as scientifically proven, obese parents do end up having obese kids even if their kids were eating well because... well, it's in their genes. If a parent was neglectful to leave their children to do whatever they want and just left them money to buy food to feed themselves, the children would most likely eat things that they see convenient and what other kids are eating which makes it the parents fault if they have not taught their children how to eat on a proper diet. In fact, if the parents do not know how to properly eat themselves and have their children eat the same junk food and things that they do... it is totally the parents fault for not knowing how to raise healthy kids and being neglectful to the well-being of their own children and themselves. If a child is well taught to know what foods to buy and what foods to eat, obesity will not necessarily happen to them. Take for example my cousin, he was brought up in a healthy environment and has tried many types of food and yes, even candy and junk food. However he has been conditioned and raised to know what types of foods to eat and actually goes to the fruits section and asking his mom/dad for fruits instead of chocolates. Also, he would occasionally buy the fruits to go as he knows they taste like candy but are so much more healthier. He is 4 years old by the way. Source(s): Personal Experience yes - parents should promote an active lifestyle with healthy food and lots of exercise. YES. Yes. yes, kids now days are so lazy. Absolutely. Don't buy the garbage and the children can't eat it! |
