Is Fast Food To Blame For Child, Teen, and Adult Obesity? |
Personally, I think that its the choice of eating at McDonalds that makes people obese. But I would like to here your opinion because Im taking a poll. Of course people make the decisions what to eat. The fast food doesn't walk by itself into people's mouths! Everyone knows what is healthly and what is not! I think the parents are to blame for childhood obesity. i would say the parents Yes it is! If we don't act now the people in the world will just get fatter and fatter. The frying of french fries, hamburgers, chicken nuggets, and ect. is what gets us to be fat. I eat a little to much of fast food and I went to the doctor today and I gained 3 pounds in the last 2 months. Yes it is , but you cannot just blame McDonalds, you can also blame the high fructose corn syrup (artificial sugar), high fatty foods, and all sweets! My cousin is a nutritionist! You bet it is. Fast food causes alot more bad things than just obesity. It increases certain diseases, and it's just downright bad for the soul. Believe it or not, you can even become addicted to the food. I am living proof of that, since I used to eat fast food all the time as a child and I would have unbearable cravings for the food. To solve that problem, I simply decided to quit eating fast food. Now, I have NO cravings of fast food and I think it's totally disgusting. Also, McDonalds has grade "D" beef, among other things. So if I were you, QUIT EATING FAST FOOD!!! And start eating your fruits and veggies! ^_^ It's the people themselves, not the fast food places, because the people make the choice to eat their food. |
