What do you think account for the rise in childhood obesity?

There's a whole lot of other factors in play besides too much food and lack of exercise, although those are good answers. I don't remember the exact figures, but crops (animal and vegetable) in the US are way more than the calories needed for the population to maintain a healthy weight. Mostly corn--look at almost any processed food you buy, especially soda. High fructose corn syrup will be an ingredient. And also look at what foods are advertised. Calorie dense, nutrient light. It's not profitable to export the extras to those countries needing them, so they just market the stuff here.
lack of grammar
lack of exercise and high-fat intake diets
convenience foods
fast foods
Too many processed foods and not enough exercise.
Im hungry, pass the candy and chips, and get me a coke too.
