Has anyone ever been determined disabled by social security due to obesity? |
Has anyone ever been determined disabled by social security due to obesity? First thing that came to mind was an episode of "The Simpsons" where Homer gains all this weight so he won't have to work. I sure hope they don't. You're not examined by a social worker. You're examined by doctors. Doctors who want you to work. Sitting down at a computer shouldn't outside of the tolerable activity level for the grossly obese. In fact, I think you were just doing it. Yes, if the social worker judges that you're unable to carry out a regular job due to disability, due to obesity or anything else, you would be eligible for social security. Well I'll be! Never heard of such a thing. Only in America I suppose. Boy if so I'm out of touch with my home country. Wonder if that works where I live? I'll have to check it out! Disability because of being obese. Been trying to find a way not to work once I learn Swedish. Lol! If ss actually gives a free check to people that are fat and lazy get me a box of oreo's. yes only if they belong to a minority. otherwise u have little chance 2 qualify. u can not eat ur way into entitlements common sense & observation |
