Tom science inspired me to ask whether an obese person would admit to their obesity online. Would they decieve |
It seems to me like people respond to a challenge when they don't have to. It's as though asking a question can hurt somebody so much that the question makes the asker feel stupid. They get embarassed, and scared. These are feelings given by the devil aren't they? No, fear is a good thing to a limited extent. Fear is a way of our brains alerting us to danger. As far as obesity- what the heck does obesity and feelings have to do with each other? Go rephrase the quesiton and have it make sense this time ok? NO I don't think those feelings are of the devil. Questions, especially if asked wrong can make people feel hurt.... even in an anonymous site like this one. The feelings of the asker -- stupid, embarassed and scared-- show that they have compassion for their fellow man. Compassion is not a feeling given by the devil. Not really sure what you are asking, but I am overweight. http://www.geocities.com/bwrobinsonca... I think a person who asks a question like this, should get a life and not worry about things that are beyond his or her control. Generally speaking you could ask a different question, such as "Are you Lazy". Have you ever seen a really energetic person who is also Obese? I haven't I would like to know why you and Tom Science care about "on-line-obesity." I don't believe in the devil. I believe you make decisions and you're responsible for them. It's like little children blaming the invisible friend when they take a cookie without asking. :-) I think unjustified fear is from the devil. Fear of doing something wrong is not from the devil. I don't really understand your entire question though. I am obese. Yes, I will admit that. Many of us (women; fairly small boned women) only have to be a little over 20 pounds overweight to be considered obese medically. I hope this answers your question. |
