Would banning macca's, kfc nd other junk food chains have an efect on obesity levels?

No, fast food restaurants have been around for 50 years and they are more health conscious then they ever have been, we didn't have as many overweight people previously due to people/kids going out and playing/going outdoors and not sitting in front of a computer and playing video games all day stuffing their faces, As technology gets more advanced people have to do physically less everyday and are not as active esp kids. You can get overweight eating healthy if you never get any exercise, you have to burn off calories, plus lack of parenting now days is a big factor also. People want to blame everyone else for their problems that they are in control of.
Yes. If you stop eating there and don't exercize enough, you may stay obese. But not eating there in the first place is a good idea. Ever notice most of the people who work in those places are obese? Yeah...guess what food they eat.
If the food wasn't so unhealthy then it wouldn't matter. But they sell easy to get heart attacks in a sack.
i do not believe it would make a difference since not all obesity is from fast food.you canbe just as bad at home.most obesity is from poor eating habits period like eating a lt of sweetened cereal and from soft drinks high in sugar.plus eating foods high in starch like potatoes and sanwiches.
Of course not. The fatties would just find something else to shove down their obese gullets.
Personally I think education kids at a young age about eating habits and what is not good for them would help a lot. In our fast pace world to many adult resort to fast food thinking that it is OK to feed their kids. If they learn young than maybe they won't feed their kids fast food eventually junk food would fad out. As far as banning I don't think it's possible but we could boycott them, choose not to eat there.
