Maybe it's because they're not considered to be addictive the way tobacco is. If alcohol is addictive, maybe we should have warnings on bottles.
It's only a matter of time. There is now a movement to put such warnings on infant formula.
cigarettes cause cancer and lost of suff makes us fat
so do MANY other things. should we start labeling everything. Every food is bad for you for some reason or another with the exception of veggies. Potato chips are fine as long as you don't eat the whole bag.
thats a good question....I am a smoker so I won't touch the cig question(SMOKERS ARE PEOPLE TOO,SO BACK OFF)
chips aren't considered dangerous for your health if ate in moderation.
in a way they do warn us of the fat content and sodium mgs. but there are tasty brands that carry hardly any fat at all. just don't pig out and go crazy simply because the are fat free of low sodium.
I asked this once and everyone said that I was out of line and that no one ever got hurt by second hand calories.
I beg to differ. We are going to see more people in trouble medically because of obesity. I pay taxes towards health care so well, society in general is going to pay.
I think that this would be a really great idea. I would even suggest that it be done like we do in Canada with the cigarettes. Put a picture of a morbidly obese person on the package. Watch how many people will want to graze through a bag then.
