What do you think of the united states government implementing a diet plan to lower obesity in the USA?

Also including 1hr two days a week of mandatory paid physical fitness?

I'd LOVE that if I could find someone to watch my son or incorporate him into a workout.
thats good...if its helpin ppl then i don't see tha problem...tha only thing is dat I think its shouldn't be mandatory but just optional
Doesn't seem like the government would be able, constitutionally, to inact any sort of legislation about a diet plan...
most govt. projects that are mandatory turn out to be complete failures, it should be optional at the most. Who is gonna pay for the "paid physical fitness", this is a bad idea, all they need to do is start a campaign on eating right and exercising, just like in the 70's, I think, when the govt. launched a campaign against littering and it worked
