I can't help you specifically in your geographic area, but your doctor would probably know about these things. If not, call the major local hospital directly and ask. You will probably have to talk to several people before you get to the right one, but if there is a group in the area - whether at a hospital, church, or health club - SOMEBODY there will know about it.

Joining a support group can be a good thing. Getting to know other people with a similar health situation can be an excellent way to encourage you and help you learn about your own situation.
