| *Women health>>>Obesity |
It seems to me that Americans (as well as a lot of other nationalities) have a growing problem of obesity? |
Do you think that the fast food industry has contributed to this by making it cheaper to eat out than to make wholesome food at home..and also used high calorie/high salt foods that are instantly available..sometimes day and night? Well, the fast food industry grew out of a demand also. Our lifestyle has become so fast paced that we barely have time to sit down and eat a proper meal let alone cook a proper meal! Since they're catering to the public, they have to make the food taste good so that it will be bought and, unfortunately, what tastes good may not be what's healthy for us. yeah it's what happens when you get rich. Definitely. People don't work as hard as they do anymore and the idea of "convenience" has become relavent to them. Plus, wealth can contribute to this problem as well. With more and more money to spend on more/better foods, people tend to forget how much food they're eating rather than the cost. um...DUH! Good old McDonalds, its an additction.. they need a tweleve step program.. DAMN YOU RONALD MCDONALD!! absolutely. fast food companies are making huge dollars because people have less time to make healthy choices. the world has gotten busier and fast food is convienent. That, combined with the lack of exercise that people take in nowadays...is contributing to an overly fat society. Fast food is the problem |
