If we were all more comortable with public nudity, would obesity be the problem it is today? |
Wouldn't we take as much care of our bodies as we do what we'll wear? cool !!!You have discovered the "cure" for obesity in America! I love the idea Have you been to a nude beach? They're usually filled with old, fat people. Why is this question in R&S? You seem to be looking for a Naturists Q&A. Nude fat people? That sounds like an entirely new obesity problem to me. I don't know...I've seen people wear clothes that are totally inappropriate for the bodies they have. (Tight pants with their bellies hanging over, half-shirts with bellies hanging out, spandex with...ugh.) Probably not. Every year around the start of bathing suit season, I really crack down on my diet and count my calories so I can look good in a bikini. I get a bit more relaxed about my weight and usually weigh about 5 to 10 pounds more in the winter, when I never wear revealing clothes. The holiday season is the main culprit then. Even if public nudity was common place, a lot of people would probably choose to wear clothes just so they can hide their flawed figures. Eventually we all get old, saggy, and wrinkly, so we will all want to hide some stuff. If you want to become comfortable with our body parts, and fatness is part of our body, then how would it help? Getting to the cause of obesity, rather than its effect in the world will have lasting results. |
