Does anyone have a clue about dog's eye allergies? |
My dog is a Huskey and she has very bad eye allergies. She start's to get here paws sometimes and rub's here eyes and here eye's look very red. I feel so sorry for here i just don't know what to do for here. Sometimes she lays by the heater that might be the problem i dont know. Does anyone have a clue i really want to help her. Are you sure that it is eye allergies? Sounds a lot like Pink Eye. You need to see a vet for some meds before something serious happens and the dog goes blind. It may not be an allergy. A dog I train has dry eyes from the environment she is in. It looked like allergies but when I started putting saline drops in her eyes twice a day, it cleared up. As long as she's not exhibiting any vision lose, try the drops first. It's the least expensive way to go. My own experience. It is probably an eye infection or scratch on the cornea. You need to get your dog into a vet to have it diagnosed before the eye loses vision I am a vet assistant |
