I've seen lots of references to reactions a person might have to eye allergies... redness, soreness, watery eyes, swelling of the lids, etc... but my sclera actually swells if I forget and rub my eye after petting a cat (I know, I'm an idiot for petting cats in the first place). I honestly just want to know if there is anyone else out there who has the same issue or knows anyone who has the same issue w/ the whites of their eyes swelling specifically.
Yes, this happens to me sometimes too. I use a product from Bausch & Lomb called "Opcon-A" to make the swelling go down and relieve the itching. It works. Doctors also have prescription allergy eye drops too.
I don't know of anyone or have the problem, but check with an eye doctor nearby. They can help you.
