Is there an over the counter eye drop for allergies for my Shih-Tzu dog?


My Shih-Tzu seems to have allergies. Everyday there is gunk in the corner of his eyes. This condition worsened when the Spring season arrived. His nose also runs a little bit after our walks.

Hi Toni, yes most likely it is allergic reaction, but this may be infection or disease, also eyes Shih-Tzu are a complex sensory organ vulnerable to injury. Therefore you, must be alert to eye ailments if they arise and prevent them whenever possible., I would recommend a thorough examination by your veterinarian. This will help detect any developing health problems as early as possible.
