Do allergies contribute to eye twitching?

Lately on and off I get twitching in both my eyes? I had an eye examine about a year ago and was told that I have 20/15 vision above normal? Is it possible that my eye twitching is caused by allergies and or stress and how to stop it?

It is possible allergies may be involved, but, as a pharmacist, I usually have people try calcium-magnesium-zinc tablets 2-3 times daily with meals, and it has given relief to a high percentage of persons who suffer from this problem. Spazzy muscles and tics are very often symptomatic of a magnesium deficiency. Source(s): The Miracle of Magnesium - Dr Carolyn Dean
Eye twitches are usually from stress.
i am not sure about the allergy part...however, eye twitching can be an early sign of diabetes. If diabetes runs on your family, I would definitely get to a doctor and check.
